Our main concentration is supplying the Omnia thermopanel
Our main concentration is supplying the Omnia thermopanel, which was introduced to the UK transport industry over 5 years ago and is now used by some of the major UK fleets including – TNT, DHL, Royal Mail, Walkers Snack Foods, Marks and Spencer, WRE, NHS, Tuffnells Parcels.
The panel is not only the lightest currently available (25mm = 4.5kg/m2), it is fused together eliminating the need for adhesives or bonding, is impervious to climatic change, 100% recyclable and also requires less energy to manufacture compared to conventional materials.
Where others may try to imitate, there is no other panel that is produced with this
full - fusion method.
This makes the Omnia panel the only time-proven and still uniquely produced system currently available.
The panel enables operators to gain significant Increased Payload Potential (IPP), especially in the weight critical 3.5 tonne market. In certain cases over 250kg has been gained giving a 20% increase in payload compared to conventional GRP/plywood panels.
This can mean that operators have the opportunity to reduce their journeys by 1 in 5 therefore increasing operating efficiencies and reducing their impact on the environment.
The ever-increasing uses for the Omnia panel have made it a proven feature on thousands of vehicles
around the UK.
Below are some of the main uses in the dry freight sector:
- Side and bulkhead panels for box van rigids
- Side and bulkhead panels for box van trailers
- Roof panels for box van rigids and trailers
